Jasmine and I are having so much fun together. She loves to laugh and be tickled. She imitates most things. There is a baby tub in the bathroom and we sat outside the tub and splashed the water, throwing toys into it. She loves the computer and we now keep her away from it, as she is rough on it. She likes to stand holding onto things. I think she will go from standing to running. Forget the walking. She is one determined little girl. I took her on 2 walks today in the hotel hallway. I am hoping she will be walking by the time we leave China. We shall see... That is what happens when you have a mom that is a physical therapist assistant. She just had no opportunities to develop those muscles. I am having fun trying to use my pediatric PT skills to give her different opportunities while playing. She does not have any interest in any "solid" foods except Cherrios and some banana (which our guide said is good for poo). Well let me tell you the guide is right. I experienced this first hand. Within a few minutes of a few bites... well I will leave the rest up to your imagination. Last night was a good night. Tonight not so much. I think she is having night terrors or flash backs. She is thrashing about more often and crying out. She woke up from her afternoon nap screaming like I have never seen her. Not sure if she was disoriented or what. She calmed down with Cherrios and we played in the bathroom outside the little tub. Maybe tomorrow I will attempt a bath for her, she seems to like the water and did not mind splashing herself. She also does not like the bus rides. The plane trip home should be interesting. Okay I am off to bed for a little bit. I cannot wait for everyone to meet Jasmine. She is quite the special little girl!! I love her. Nighty night all!!
